Building Bridges is a Side Quest in Atlas Fallen. Side Quests are special missions or Quests that revolve around secondary storylines and can be undertaken anytime while playing the game. These quests involve extra activities that players can participate in, offering them more opportunities to explore the game world and its characters.

Building Bridges Quest Description
Old Seven told you about some villagers who are stranded in the desert, now that all the bridges have collapsed. He asked you to find and talk to them, in order to figure out a way to help them get back.
Updated Description -Splinter told you about an old, crumbled stone bridge that used to connect the desert to the village. With your powers, you might be able to restore it. Investigate the ruins at the chasm.
The bridge can be raised, but the gauntlet's powers need to be improved to do it. Splinter promised to construct a platform that will take you close enough to raise the bridge from the depths, while you take care of the gauntlet. Afterwards, go to the bridge and restore the path!

Atlas Fallen Building Bridges Quest Walkthrough
Look for stranded villagers
- Location: Castrum VII and the Vast Desert
After beginning the quest, Old Seven will instruct you to go out of the safe walls of Castrum VII and into the desert to help him in finding the lost villagers.
Eventually, you will find one of your missing persons.
Directly south of Castrum VII and after crossing the bridge, In the middle of the vast desert is a camp. You will be able to find Wornblade and is one of the missing villagers.
This camp would be the same area where the Wasteland Anvil, a chest containing Formula IV and Sarge. Upon talking to her, she will point you to the direction of the next missing villager, Splinter and progress the quest.
Find Splinter
- Location: Vast Desert, Wastelands
Within the Vast Desert, Splinter can be found under this specified rock formation. This area will be south of Wornblade's Camp and Wastelands Anvil. Splinter can be found in the South facing side of the Rock formation as directly behind you in this screenshot while you are on your way to Splinter would be the Watcher and the Watchtower area.
Chase after the Wraith
- Location: Vast Desert, Wastelands
When you meet Splinter, a cutscene will play where he would start talking but it would be cut short as he will be kidnapped by a flying Wraith. The objective will now change as you are told to give chase and try to rescue Splinter. The Wraith will lead both of you to a very dangerous place and progress the quest.
Defeat the Wraiths around Splinter
- Location: Vast Desert, Watchtower
When the wraith finally drops Splinter onto the ground, both of you will end up under the gaze of the watchtower. An area swarming and infested of wraiths, specifically Cloakers. The priority then comes to defeat this pack of wraiths before you can check up on Splinter. Simply defeat the large pack and then meet up with Splinter.
Check up on Splinter
- Location: Vast Desert, Watchtower
Once the pack of Wraiths are defeated, you are free to finally meet the distressed Splinter, progress the quest and get your rewards. In this case, also includes the Counter Attack Essence Stone
Investigate the ruined bridge
- Location: Castrum VII, Forest Outskirts
The bridge mentioned by Splinters is the specific Bridge the connects the Vast Dessert and Wastelands with Castrum V1.)II and Outskirts Forest. Nyaal will mention your gauntlet will not be powerful enough yet to repair the bridge and will ask you to go back to Splinter for a solution.
Share Findings with Splinter
- Location: Vast Desert Wasteland, Wastelands Anvil
Upon your return to Splinter and knowing the situation. Splinter will reply back that she can herself upgrade the Gauntlet. Now depending on wethear or not you have finished The Path to Bastengar Main Quest. If not then you will get the following objective below.
Finish the Quest, "The Path to Bastengar"
- Location: Forest Outskirts, Vast Desert
Pretty Straightforward, in order to continue with the Building Bridges Sidequest, you have to finish The Path to Bastengar Main quest.
Raise the Old Stone Bridge
- Location: Forest Outskirts, Vast Desert
Once you finish The Path to Bastengar, you will get the new objective and now be able to raise the stone bridge. Once you get the objective, Simply go to the bridge and watch the cutscene play that fully repairs the bridge.
Report to Old Seven in Castrum VII
- Location: Castrum VII
After the cutscene, you will get finally be able to tell Old Seven everything that has happened in this journey. Simply go back to Castrum VII and report back to finish the quest.
