Find the Guards' Camp
The guard's camp is located directly in the middle south of the map. Picutre here. The camp would be set nearby towards the destroyed bridge going to the isolated island to the middle south of the entire map. Talk to the Caravan guard there, let them know David's whereabouts and this will finish the errand.
